It is currently one of the main port operators in America and a leader in tugboat services on the continent and fourth worldwide. In the port market, SAAM is associated with strategic local and global operators. These include SSA Marine, the largest terminal operator in the United States.
SAAM is the principal of Sociedad Matriz SAAM S.A., a public limited company incorporated in 2011 and shares are listed on the Santiago de Chile Stock Exchange, being part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Chile and DJSI MILA.
